Gambling participation in Australia 2024: trends over time, and profiles associated with online gambling
Problem gambling is a major public health concern in Australia and internationally. This paper presents the first nationally representative data of the rates of online gambling participation beyond COVID-19. While overall gambling participation rates have decreased over the past 15 years, online gambling rates have exponentially increased in the same period.

Talking about vaping: WA young people’s views and perspectives of e-cigarettes
In this survey report, participants discussed what worries or concerns them about e-cigarette and ’vaping’, how they think young people access ‘vapes’, and how adults can better support young people to avoid, reduce or stop using these harmful products.

Efficacy of mindfulness and goal setting interventions for increasing resilience and reducing smoking in lower socio-economic groups: randomised controlled trial protocol
Mindfulness-based interventions and setting realistic goals are preferred in low socioeconomic communities. This study aimed to test if these interventions, delivered online and consolidated with peer support offered via ex-smokers, are successful in promoting smoking cessation and resilience.
