Natalie Lewis is a Gamilaraay yinar woman, CEO of Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak, Co-Chair of the national Family Matters campaign, and was recently appointed to the Queensland First Children and Families Board.

This is a study about government expenditure on children and family services in the Northern Territory. It will focus on funding arrangements for services and programs that are relevant to the prevention of harm to children, and will examine ways to improve those funding arrangements to support better outcomes for children, families and the community.

Jennah Dungay is a proud Wiradjuri and Dunghutti young woman from Wellington and Kempsey NSW. Growing up in Redfern, Jennah is a youth ambassador for AbSec and recently completed her Advanced Diploma of Aboriginal Specialised Trauma Counselling.

The NT Government reports on its reform agenda, designed to improve supports for children and families at risk of, or experiencing, vulnerability and to strengthen support services to victims and survivors of abuse.

In 2018, CREATE conducted the largest ever independent survey of children and young people with a care experience, surveying 1275 children and young people about their experiences in the out-of-home care system. The results have been compiled in this report.
