This inquiry was established to look into the possible impact on children of imprisoned parents in NSW, and the adequacy of policies and services to assist them. In particular, it examined what services are available, how effective they are, and whether improvements could be made.

This report explores whether children and young people with an acquired brain injury might be over-represented in the criminal justice system in Victoria. It also discusses the strengths and weaknesses of the current system in responding to the needs of young people with cognitive impairment.
