This report explores what existing research says about what the UK public think about data privacy, the behaviours they undertake to protect their privacy and the data trade-offs they are willing to make.

This community and industry consultation report has been prepared by IEAA, as deliverable six in the project Data Stocktake and Data Gaps Analysis (2017/08a) under the Australian International Education: Enabling Growth and Innovation programme. This project sought to gain a provider perspective of the current state of play in international education data.

The audit objective was to assess the effectiveness of the Attorney-General’s Department’s design of the Data Retention Industry Grants program, including performance monitoring, reporting, evaluation and assurance arrangements.

The purpose of this consultation is to seek submissions from a range of stakeholders, including industry and data users, on the ACCC’s proposed Internet Activity Record Keeping Rule (RKR).
