This study explores inequities in Assistive Technology (AT) access for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Secondary analysis identified barriers and facilitators across people, products, personnel, provision and policy, generating nine principles for culturally safe AT delivery. The findings highlight actions needed for respectful and effective AT programs.

The final report of the independent review of the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988, the legislative framework that underpins the Commonwealth workers’ compensation scheme. The review made 124 recommendations, focussing on: best practice in workers’ compensation; workers’ experience of the scheme; scheme coverage and entitlements; governance and administration; and reducing disputes.

The National Deaths in Custody Program has monitored the extent and nature of deaths occurring in prison, police custody and youth detention in Australia since 1980. This report contains detailed information on these deaths in 2024–25 and compares the findings with longer term trends. It finds there were 113 deaths in custody.

The final report from an inquiry into the adequacy of the powers available to the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency to perform its role in identifying and addressing corporate governance issues at Australian higher education providers. It provides eight recommendations.
