This research focuses on the opportunity to better utilise existing network infrastructure and reduce energy costs for Australian Capital Territory residents. It finds that significant population growth to 2045 and electrification can be accommodated within existing capacity if electric vehicle charging and water heating occurs in times of otherwise low electricity demand.

More than half of all gaming machines in Australia are located in New South Wales (NSW). This audit assessed the effectiveness of the regulation of gaming machines in clubs and hotels in NSW, with a focus on harm minimisation requirements. It finds that harm minimisation outcomes are not supported effectively. The report makes four recommendations.

It found no evidence that the settlement process and outcome, including the legal advice provided, who was present at the mediation, or the amount of the settlement, was subject to any improper influence by any Commonwealth public official.
