Access to timely, affordable and high quality specialist care is critical to improving the health outcomes of remote, rural and regional (RRR) communities. This report examines the progress and challenges in the delivery of various specific health services and specialist care in RRR New South Wales. It presents 24 findings and 32 recommendations.

The framework monitors progress towards health equity for First Nations people and this report presents key findings for Queensland. The report finds mixed results, with some areas of improvement and other areas of concern across the three tiers of health status and outcomes, determinants of health, and health system performance.

An inquiry into the administration of Commonwealth regulations examines how Commonwealth entities assess compliance risk, inform compliance and enforcement strategies, and identify and address incidences of non-compliance with rules and regulations. Parents contended their children were unjustifiably removed and they were punished for situations beyond their control, such as homelessness. It presents a series of recommendations for both the state government and federal government.

This report on the behaviour and compliance of gas pipeline service providers arises from new monitoring and reporting powers introduced to address under-regulation concerns. It finds issues such as limited transparency and variable experiences for pipeline users, but only a few cases of non-compliance.
