As part of the higher education reforms announced in the 2017-18 Budget, the Australian Government will extend the demand driven funding system to approved higher education sub bachelor (diploma, advanced diploma, and associate degree) courses at Table A universities from 1 January 2018.

Requirements for courses and students will be described in the Commonwealth Grant Scheme Guidelines, and the Government is now requesting feedback on draft guidelines and the process for course approval.
