The NQF Snapshot Q1 2014 is ACECQA’s fifth national report on children’s education and care services.

The data included in this Snapshot is drawn from the National Quality Agenda IT System (NQA ITS) as at 31 March 2014.

Snapshot highlights include:

• 14,358 children’s education and care services operating across Australia
• 5085 or 35% of services have received a quality rating
• 61% of all rated services are Exceeding or Meeting the National Quality Standard
• 78,649 supervisor certificates have been issued
• 6.1% of services across Australia are operating with waivers.
