The aim of this D'Art topic was to assist in locating organisations similar to NAVA in other countries, ie: non- government organisations with a focus on policy development (eg taxation, copyright, government priorities and programs) and service provision (eg information, advice, research and publication of 'best practice' manuals) for visual artists and craftspeople and the industries in which they operate. The report provides details of 31 visual arts and craft organisations in 16 countries, plus two international organisations. A summary table provides a quick reference to the main activities of the national associations.
