This report presents findings from a segmentation analysis that used data from the 2008 ANZ Survey of Adult Financial Literacy in Australia. The project profiles the population into segments based on personal money management attitudes and behaviours. The findings are designed to help policy makers better understand how money is managed in Australia, to inform the development of new approaches to assist people in financial difficulty and to prevent people getting into such situations in the first place.
