The Australian government commissioned this independent review into COVID-19 outbreaks in Australian residential aged care facilities.

The review had 3 objectives under the terms of reference:

  1. to build on COVID-19 literature, resilience and manage future outbreaks
  2. to create critical factors that help RACFs to respond to an outbreak; and
  3. to give advice to government on how to respond to future outbreaks.

The review is for an independent analysis to help the public and the Department of Health in understand the COVID-19 outbreaks in the residential aged care facilities.
