Description
Most Victorian women and men, regardless of their socio-economic status or cultural background, did not hold ‘violence-supportive’ attitudes on many of the measures used in this VicHealth survey on community attitudes to violence against women. Attitudes had improved on most measures since 1995. Nonetheless there were concerning numbers who held attitudes which may serve to either condone or trivialise violence against women or undermine efforts to address it.
