Containing 206 recommendations in 699 pages, this comprehensive review of child protection services in South Australia sets out a plan, based on best practice and evidence, that will assist the South Australian Government address more effectively the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the community and ensure improved outcomes for those children and young people who have been abused and neglected and their families.

The recommendations aim to assist South Australia to move forward as a State in modelling best practice in child protection by establishing a comprehensive whole of community approach.
