This third and final report from the Supporting Quality Engagement with Children consultation project focused on the National Plan to End Violence Against Women and Children 2022-2032, in particular prevention and early intervention. It shares the views of over 300 children and young people across all Australian jurisdictions. The report contains eight recommendations.

The national child and family investment strategy


The strategy focuses on driving the shift towards earlier supports and the transition towards the Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisation (ACCO) sector. The strategy shows how all governments will prioritise funding to child and family services. The goal is to support all families to provide safe and caring homes for their children.

The Settlement Engagement and Transition Support program is an early intervention program intended to contribute to humanitarian entrants and other eligible vulnerable migrants and communities. The audit reports on the effectiveness of the management of the grants in achieving the program objectives. It finds program performance has been mixed in a number of areas.
