This report provides a picture of public hospitals during 2005-06, using data provided by the states and territories. It reports against an agreed set of performance indicators established under the 2003-08 Australian Health Care Agreements. This year the report includes a focus on older Australians in hospital and looks at hospital rehabilitation services.
