This report summarises the NSW Government’s progress to date in implementing its commitments to Stolen Generations survivors and their families, made in response to the General Purpose Standing Inquiry into Reparations for the Stolen Generations - the Unfinished Business Report.

The Aboriginal self-identification project sought to understand why Aboriginal people identify as Aboriginal when using various government services.

This plan is less about government and more about Aboriginal people. It focuses on revitalising and promoting language and culture, creating opportunities, increasing people’s capacity, providing choice and empowering people to exercise that choice, as well as giving them the tools to take responsibility for their own future.
