Teacher Education Expert Panel
Owning Institution:
The Australian Government established the Teacher Education Expert Panel in September 2022 to provide advice on implementing 2 of the 17 recommendations made in the the 2022 Quality Initial Teacher Education (QITE) Review. This Expert Panel is chaired by Professor Mark Scott AO, Emeritus Professor Bill Louden AM, Professor Michele Simons, Dr Jenny Donovan, Mr Andrew Peach and Ms Rebecca West.

Strong beginnings: report of the Teacher Education Expert Panel 2023
The Teacher Education Expert Panel was established by the Australian government to improve initial teacher education (ITE) to boost graduation rates and ensure graduating teachers are better prepared for the classroom. This final report includes 14 recommendations to improve teacher training and better prepare teachers for the classroom.
