Since legalised gaming was introduced in Victoria in the early 1990s, the Victorian community has developed many strategies and initiatives to educate and support individuals and communities on gambling issues. This report outlines the findings of a recent research project.
This paper explores how bilingual workers engage within workplaces across a range of sectors. It has been developed to stimulate discussion and elicit responses from stakeholders on key questions formulated in the development of a working definition of a bilingual worker.
The objectives of this research were to analyse how Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) consumers access and use language services – specifically interpreters - and to determine consumer views on the effectiveness of language service provision in health settings.
