This strategy document has been developed by 18 clean transport and energy experts to enable and boost cooperative action across federal, state/territory, and local governments, together with industry, to support the decarbonisation of Australia’s transport sector.

In this working paper, the authors argue that while COVID‐19 has been a crippling event, working from home has the potential to be an unintended positive consequence of the widespread disruption. There are benefits to the individual employee, to employers and businesses, and to the wider economy, including the transport network.
