This report is the first of its kind to apply the deprivation approach to examine deprivation among young Australians using information provided by young people themselves. It builds on earlier projects that developed and applied the approach used here to adults.

Housing options and independent living: sustainable outcomes for older people who are homeless
This paper outlines a research project investigating programs for older homeless people in all states in Australia. The wide coverage will enable the research team to provide a comparative analysis of the housing of homeless older people nationally in both urban and regional areas - including programs catering for indigenous people.
