This article presents findings from an exploratory research using descriptive case studies of 12 migrant women in Western Australia to better understand the ways in which women migrants, through alliances and collaboration, cross borders of learning and work towards generating change and transformation.

Educators and providers will have access to a new set of tools and resources to better support students from refugee backgrounds pursue higher education, following this national research project that examined students’ transition experiences.

This study adds to the body of knowledge about Community Health Workers by providing a perspective from Safe Motherhood Action Group volunteers on their experience and motivations for participation in maternal health programs in Zambia.

The objectives of the Vulnerability Assessment Mapping were to: identify locations of support (VCT, health promotion and education etc) and HIV-risk behaviour; identify factors that increase personal and societal HIV vulnerability and to map mobility patterns.
