In July 2021, the Office for Women held a virtual workshop on the prevention of financial abuse. The workshop was facilitated by researchers from the Monash Gender and Family Violence Prevention Centre. This report summarises key points of discussion that emerged throughout the day.

This report draws attention to the wellbeing considerations for Victorian practitioners working remotely to support people experiencing and using violence during the COVID-19 pandemic. It provides critical insights into how practitioners can be supported remotely to do this incredibly challenging, yet crucial work.

The Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme enables authorised organisations and services to share information to facilitate assessment and management of family violence risk to children and adults. This independent review was undertaken by a team of researchers from Monash University.

This project aims to contribute to an understanding of judicial views, understandings and practices in relation to perpetrator interventions and how these views may influence overall perpetrator accountability within the system of perpetrator interventions.

This project draws on the insights of 36 women living in New South Wales and Victoria who outlined their experiences of seeking justice and security in the context of violence that they had experienced.
