This research explores environmental discourses of local councils situated in the Merri Creek catchment in metropolitan Melbourne, Australia, a settler-colonial country.
Urban greening activities are underpinned by diverse organisational arrangements. Frameworks have been developed to articulate how such arrangements support the understanding and development of urban greening governance and practice. This paper builds on these frameworks with an additional consideration - levels of formality and informality.
