Urban greening activities are underpinned by diverse organisational arrangements. Frameworks have been developed to articulate how such arrangements support the understanding and development of urban greening governance and practice. We build on these frameworks with an additional consideration - levels of formality and informality. Highlighting levels of formality is important to recognise diverse practices and to inform understanding of urban greening governance and initiative design.
