Women and children with disability who are at risk of domestic and family violence need more cohesive support services to ensure they don’t slip through the gaps, according to this report which shows that women with disability experience higher rates of partner violence than the wider population of women.

The focus of this research is young people as agents of change in preventing violence against women. This reflects the origins of R4Respect as primarily a domestic violence prevention program.
