The science and research sector has always had a responsibility to earn and retain trust through transparent systems of accountability, and through producing work of quality and integrity. This paper aims to provide clarity and context about the process of science to contribute to better public debate and understanding.

This discussion paper summarises findings from CSIRO Futures’ initial consultation and desktop research into opportunities, challenges and enabling actions related to advancing the Australian quantum technology sector by supporting the translation of Australia’s quantum research.
