The overall aim of this inquiry was to develop clear policy directions for enhancing housing supports for individuals leaving institutional settings.

This research presents policy and practice recommendations to enhance the coordination of housing, health and social care supports for individuals leaving residential treatment for mental health or substance use problems.

This project aimed to investigate and document experiences of gender-based violence occurring in adult mental health inpatient units and perpetrated against those identifying as women, in order to inform how policy and practice can be improved to make these environments safe for women.
