This updated report presents preliminary research findings from data collected during the Assisting Communities through Direct Connection (ACDC) Project – a proactive outreach initiative that utilised doorknocking to initiate conversations about mental health across 27 Australian communities over three project rounds.

This report aims to identify and understand the prevalence, nature, and occurrence of workplace sexual harassment and discrimination both in Western Australia, and Australia more broadly.

This project aims to better understand what is different about living in regional areas that leads to poorer mental health and difficulties accessing support, and what further support is needed to improve the lives and wellbeing of people living in those communities.
