In January 2024, the Secretaries Board appointed Rosemary Huxtable to undertake an independent, high level review of the effectiveness of current Board operations and to make findings and recommendations to support its ongoing strategic work. This report outlines the findings from the review.

The Australian Government requested this independent analysis to assess the Royal Australian Navy’s surface combatant fleet capability to ensure its size, structure and composition complemented the capabilities of the forthcoming conventionally-armed, nuclear-powered submarines.

This is the final report of the Mid-Term Review of the National Health Reform Agreement Addendum 2020-2025. The review was commissioned by the Health Ministers of the Commonwealth and all Australian States and Territories.
