This report is an outcome of a longitudinal cohort study which aims to identify risk and protective factors for dementia and other age-related chronic conditions, as well as promote ageing well with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians from urban and regional communities.

The purpose of this paper is to describe an initiative by Cancer Australia and Menzies School of Health Research to develop Australia’s first national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer framework, using a process of co-design with relevant stakeholders.
