Australia needs to fundamentally reframe its policy approach. Ad hoc and set-and-forget approaches to policy will not deliver what we need in the future.

Community reintegration of ex-prisoners is an important issue in efforts to reduce recidivism. This study examined the multiple interactive variables influencing successful reintegration of ex-prisoners, with a specific focus on the role of emotional state in the reintegration process.
