Digital Fabrication (dfab) is emerging as a new technical and computational approach for the architecture and construction industry. Lean construction management and design for manufacture and assembly (DfMA) offer two potential strategies for managing dfab.

The results of this study indicate that while the relevancy of continuous learning is well recognised, construction organisations are incapable of effectively exploiting the best practices of knowledge management.

The Affect-Based Built Environment Video Analytics (BEST) gathers and analyzes data on human affective attitudes and emotional and physiological states in the built environment and delivers these to city planners and stakeholders in maintenance and management.
