This report is part of a project monitoring the prevalence of racism experienced by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adult population. The report finds that for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults nationally during 2019–2021 everyday and health care racism were common. These data can inform government action and future policy responses.

Racism in Australian school settings continues to be a prevalent issue for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and students from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds. From a literature review conducted into the prevalence and impacts of racism, the case is outlined for a National Anti-Racism Framework to be embedded in Australian schools.
