If governments are interested in pursuing more demand driven approaches to housing in indigenous communities, policy-makers need better information about indigenous people's perceptions of home ownership. The study examined the meaning of home ownership for Indigenous people through a survey of 86 Indigenous Australians in five study sites around Australia.
