The relationship between pornography use and sexual violence in Australian men


Concerns have been raised regarding pornography’s influence on sexual violence, particularly among men. Questions remain regarding the strength of this association, including among Australian men, and its underlying mechanisms. The study provides valuable information to inform measures to prevent and counteract any potential negative impacts of violent pornography on sexual behaviour.

This review presents an analysis of current knowledge on interventions for migrant and refugee men who have used DFSV. Improving responses to young men's use of intimate partner violence

The authors of this report examine the current service landscape and spoke to practitioners working with young people to identify key drivers and risk factors for young men's use of intimate partner violence. They also undertook co-design with practitioners and young men to develop emerging principles of engagement for effective interventions.
