The objective of this audit was to assess whether the award of funding under the Safer Communities Fund was effective and consistent with the Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines.

The Vietnamese community is the largest refugee community in Australia. This report is the outcome of a pilot project on Vietnamese offenders conducted in Victoria in 2020–2021.

This strategy document works alongside the First National Action Plan, and includes measures the Australian government will largely deliver on its own. The focus will be on Australian government priorities and responsibilities, such as preventing and responding to online child sexual abuse.

This strategy is the first of its kind in Australia, and provides a nationally coordinated, strategic framework for preventing and responding to child sexual abuse. It seeks to reduce the risk, extent and impact of child sexual abuse and related harms in Australia.

In this article, the authors draw on criminological research and analyses of legislation in Australia and a number of international jurisdictions, to argue there is a need for improved regulation of body worn cameras.
