AMSANT's submission outlines a number of recommendations that can further strengthen the legislation currently before the committe, including the content and wording of the Bill, and broader structural reform that could support implementation of the Bill.

This report is a mixed-methods research project examining the current Northern Territory alcohol treatment services system. It provides an assessment of how much treatment is currently provided; how much should be provided to meet current demand; and the challenges, barriers and opportunities associated with the planning and delivery of alcohol treatment services in the Territory.

Now in its tenth year, the 2019 poll shows a steady climb over the past decade of people drinking to get drunk. It also finds that Australians remain confused about what constitutes low-risk to high-risk alcohol consumption.
