This summary report provides a brief outline of the background, aims, methodology, findings and key recommendations of this research project, which is led by Aboriginal academics and funded by the Lowitja Institute.

The objective of this audit was to assess the effectiveness of the Australian Research Council’s (ARC’s) administration of the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP).

The Code for Ethical Conduct in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Research consultation draft was launched on 1 July 2019. The code is the result of a comprehensive review of GERAIS to mark its 20th anniversary. This consultation draft has been released for public feedback. The closing date for submissions is 31 July 2019.

CAUDIT conducts a member survey to determine the Top Ten Topic rankings. The survey is adapted each year to reflect emerging and current technology-related business priorities in strategic contexts characterised by institutional change, funding pressures and policy uncertainties. First conducted in 2006, this year marks the 14th annual Top Ten survey and report.
