The National Drought Agreement sets out a joint approach to drought preparedness, response and recovery. It replaces the Intergovernmental Agreement on National Drought Program Reform.

Urgent action is required to strengthen an international effort to limit global warming to 1.5°C. This strategy guides the next steps in reducing the largest sources of emissions in the City of Melbourne, in line with science-based targets and the Paris Agreement on climate change.

The proposed framework presented in this paper was developed in consultation with researchers and policy makers. The framework is guiding current research examining vulnerabilities to climate change and the effects of a range of exposures on health and wellbeing.
