Operation Turon was an investigation by the Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission (IBAC) into the alleged police misconduct of then Victoria Police Assistant Commissioner, Brett Guerin.

This publication documents a timeline of major events over the course of Facebook’s history that demonstrate the unprecedented power the platform wields over politics and information systems globally. The authors argue that Australia remains vulnerable to mis- and disinformation, and does not have effective safeguards to shield the upcoming federal election from Facebook’s influence.

The Australian Digital Inclusion Index uses survey data to measure digital inclusion across three dimensions of access, affordability and digital ability. The research explores how these dimensions vary across the country and across different social groups. The 2021 Australian Digital Inclusion Index marks the first year of reporting using Australian Internet Usage Survey data.

Digital information has emerged as the prime mover of economies and societies. With the right set of policies and programs, this paper argues that Canada can have the digital connectivity infrastructure it needs to fully support an inclusive society and competitive economy far into the future.
