Modern slavery in Australia 2024–25
The Human Trafficking and Modern Slavery National Minimum Dataset is a national data collection on modern slavery events. This study describes modern slavery reports received between July 2024 and June 2025, the characteristics of victim-survivors and perpetrators, the nature of Australia Government-funded support provided to victim-survivors and the outcomes of modern slavery prosecutions.

Managing the privacy of client information in Services Australia
Services Australia collects, stores and uses the personal information of more than 27 million people to deliver services and payments. This audit provides assurance about whether Services Australia is effectively managing the privacy of client information. Deficiencies were found with risk management, data matching, record-keeping, impact assessments, transparency and reporting. The report provides eight recommendations.

Placing rural in the National Disability Insurance Scheme review
This article examines the 2023 Independent Review of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), assessing how processes, recommendations and actions considered regional, rural and remote (RRR) contexts. Findings show the Review insufficiently addressed RRR needs and offers recommendations to guide policymakers toward a more inclusive disability policy.

A tool for action: developing the Workplace Gender Equality Agency’s Action Planning Tool
The Action Planning Tool supports Australian organisations to reduce their gender pay gap. It uses organisational data to identify gender pay gap 'hot spots' and provide a targeted action plan specific to the organisation. This evaluation assesses the effectiveness of the tool in building confidence, lifting knowledge and supporting organisations to take action.
