Australia’s primary policy to address industrial greenhouse gas emissions now requires stronger action to cut pollution from gas projects including full abatement of reservoir emissions. The Santos Barossa project is particularly emissions-intensive and is likely to incur carbon costs of between $500m and $987m between now and 2030.

This report focuses on various matters raised in the interim report (2021), the regulation and specific environmental impacts of the gas industry in the Beetaloo, and concerns expressed by First Nations communities and pastoralists.

With a focus on prevention and early intervention, this strategy document offers a whole-of-government approach to acknowledge the positive contribution of young Territorians, while recognising the dedicated services, investment and policies needed across government and non-government sector to enhance the lives of young people in the Territory.

The publication of this document aims to assist public bodies, public officers and the public to better understand the nature of reports made to the NT Office of the Independent Commission Against Corruption. It should generate conversations, particularly within public bodies, about how impropriety in public administration is reported and addressed.

Based on 31 surveys and eight stakeholder interviews and discussions, this report outlines findings from the 2022 visit on access and use of media and communications, as well as the digital inclusion and service delivery challenges in Gängan and across the Laynhapuy homelands.
