In the line of fire: human rights and the US gun violence crisis
This report underlines the plight of those who survive gun violence. More than 300 people are shot in the U.S. every day and survive. Many people also suffer non-fatal gun injuries. The long- and short-term health issues related to their injuries constitute a massive public health crisis that forever shapes victims’ lives.
