This study was conducted to ascertian whether Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people prefer being asked whether they ‘identify’ as Aborigonal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or if they are of Aboriginal and/or Tores Strait Islander ‘origin'.

Third year evaluation of the Indigenous Procurement Policy
This evaluation of the Australian Government's Indigenous Procurement Policy found that overall the policy had a positive effect on Indigenous business and supported its rapid growth. However, further work was needed to improve the policy settings and the resulting outcomes for Indigenous people and communities.
