This report highlights critical success factors to better link Indigenous Australians to high quality jobs, while also providing recommendations regarding future employment and skills programming.

This report informs a retrospective review of the last ten years of Closing the Gap. The project examines and reports on the effectiveness and appropriateness of the overarching Closing the Gap policy framework, with specific attention to critical components of the National Indigenous Reform Agreement (NIRA) Closing the Gap (CtG) in achieving its objectives.

National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) has developed this submission with input from two of our affiliates—Aboriginal Health & Medical Research Council (AH&MRC) and Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA).
