SNAICC has produced this submission in response to the Productivity Commission’s draft Indigenous Evaluation Strategy for Australian Government policies and programs affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This Corporations Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (CATSI) Act Draft Review proposes changes to ensure the Act operates as a modern incorporation statute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander corporations and their members.

The purpose of the report is to assess the levels of institutional racism that Aboriginal people are subject to in South Australia’s local health networks (LHN).

This agreement arises from a commitment from all Australian governments and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives to a fundamentally new way of developing and implementing policies and programs that impact on the lives of Indigenous Australians.

These guidelines are a key output from a project of the Australian government’s National Environmental Science Program (NESP), Northern Australia Environmental Resources (NAER) Hub, titled Knowledge Brokering for Indigenous Land Management.
