Governance of artificial intelligence at the Australian Taxation Office
This audit was undertaken to determine whether the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has effective arrangements to support the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI). The report found that partly effective arrangements were in place and made seven recommendations relating to AI governance, risk management, evaluation and information management.
