Description

This parliamentary committee report examines changes to post school programs for young adults with a disability. The inquiry resulted from the decision to end the ATLAS post school program and replace it with two new programs, Community Participation and Transition to Work. Due to the importance of post school programs in the lives of young people with a disability and their families, these reforms caused an outcry across the disability services sector. The report examines the evidence on the effects of the recent program reforms, and how the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (DADHC) handled the reform process.
