Description
This paper acknowledges the sense of disciplinary identity surrounding various approaches to the study of national security issues, which is currently so fluid, so heavily contested and so highly politicized that little of genuine substance can be said regarding where disciplinary boundaries ultimately begin and end between such fields as ‘International Relations’, ‘International Security Studies’, ‘Security Studies’ and ‘Strategic Studies’.
